Important message from Craig Tonkin regarding new registration details
Dear running clubs
In an attempt to address some complaints regarding last year’s club entries to the Marazion 10k, we have made the following changes to this year’s entry system:
Entries are being extended to 550 (on a trial basis)
Club entries will work as follows:
- On 1st November club entries only will open. Each club will have until 1st December to collate their entry and submit it to me by post or email with payment for that number.
- On 1st December the entry system will be opened to everyone. We will accept any changes to a club entry, up until a few days before the race as long as the total number of entrants stays the same. There will be no refunds.|
- If the clubs total entry exceed the 550 limit then we will cut each club pro rata and you’ll have to adjust your entry with natural wastage ( ie don’t replace anyone pulling out).
I will send out the entry form on 1st November.
Hope that helps
What does this mean for you?
If you wish to enter the Marazion 10k via Alison, eliminating the need to complete entry forms, you will have to tell her that you wish to enter on or before Wednesday 27th November 2013, and pay the required entry fee at the same time.
If you prefer to enter yourself, you can do so on or after the 1st December 2013, by downloading the entry form from the racing section on this website (when available), completing and returning it in the usual way. However, should block entries from clubs around the county exceed the 550 total entry limit, you will not receive a place.
