2011

DAN 5k Series

The inaugural DAN 5k Series saw a number of TRCers compete in these short distance races between May and August this year. To qualify as completing the series, and to win a medal, you had to run 3 of the 5 available races held around the county. TRC had three series finishers:

Cornish Glass and Glazing Grand Prix

The GP is the main series of races for clubs in Cornwall. In 2011 there were 15 road and multi-terrain races held around the county and to qualify members had to complete 8 races, including at least 2 of 10 miles or more in distance. It’s a tough series, so a lot of our members dipped their toes in the water trying out a few or just some of the shorter races without committing to the full series (there’s no law against it!). The list below shows members that have completed 8 or more races this year; prizes will be awarded at The Mob Match in November (please note, positions and team placings in the GP will not be confirmed until all 15 races have been run).
